Metal chastity cages include several distinct structures: mesh, open bars, perforated plates and short shells. Compare the actual construction before deciding by material alone. A broad stainless steel label does not identify the same alloy on every product, and a metal category does not establish weight or flexibility. Chainmail, Armor and Steel Nub offer different starting points below. Use their product-specific dimensions, ring options and material wording to compare the complete configuration, then review the related material guides if you are weighing metal against resin or silicone.

A material family is not one construction

Mesh and rigid shells present different joints, surfaces and openings. Look at the actual assembled product and the parts that connect it to the ring. Where an alloy grade is stated, keep it specific to that product; do not extend a 304 or 316 claim to the collection.

Use measurements rather than impressions of weight

A solid-looking device is not a measured heavy option, and openwork is not proof of lightness. Compare published weights only when the component set and selected size are equivalent. Ring size, cage length and lock hardware still need their own checks.

Material comparisons should answer one question at a time

Use Resin vs Metal to compare the stated resin construction with metal designs, and Metal vs Silicone to explore flexible and rigid product choices. Follow the exact product’s cleaning instructions and inspect joints, finish and locking parts. Material alone does not guarantee durability, hygiene or comfort.

Adjustable Chainmail Chastity Cage with a dark mesh body and segmented base ring

Adjustable Chainmail Chastity Cage

This chainmail design pairs a mesh cage body with a listed 38–60 mm adjustable ring range. Short and Long are separate cage options. It illustrates the distinction between ring adjustment and cage size: a wider adjustment range does not define the cage’s internal dimensions or guarantee personal fit.

Armor Design mesh chastity cages shown with different cage lengths and ring assemblies

Armor Design Penis Chastity Cage

Armor Design provides a metal mesh example with XS–XL lengths listed as 40, 50, 68, 90 and 110 mm. Arc or Round rings and four ring sizes add further choices. Its listed 174 g weight is a reference figure; check which configuration it describes before making a weight comparison.

HT V3 Steel Nub Micro Chastity Cage showing its short metal shell and front opening

HT V3 The Steel Nub | Micro Chastity Cage

The Steel Nub gives a micro-size label a measurable reference: 25 mm internal tube length and 34 mm internal diameter. Its stated material is 316 stainless steel, and one 40, 45 or 50 mm ring is selected separately. Compare both dimensions rather than treating the short shell as a fit guarantee.

Two further metal configurations are Metal Cobra 6.0 with Nub and Nano options, and Gold MAMBA with XS–XL cage choices. Use each model’s own size chart and ring selector.
